This collection consists of twenty-eight 8x10 mounted photographs, both color and black and white, comprising the "Peach State Album," created by the Photographers Society of America. The Georgia members of the PSA began a collection of photographs taken by the members based on the theme "This is Georgia." The expanding collection became known as the "Peach State Album." This album of color and black and white prints, mounted for exhibition, was made available to schools, colleges, historical societies, museums, galleries, and business establishments. The subjects include historical sites, the Blue Ridge Mountains, coastal areas, grist mills, gardens, and architecture. Each item contains a title, photographer's name, and its order number from the album. The collection is incomplete, as some numbers are missing.
